This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders are processed, dispatched, and delivered, and what you can expect once an order is placed.
By placing an order on our website, you agree to this Shipping & Delivery Policy, together with our Terms & Conditions and Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy.
1. Shipping Coverage
We currently ship within India only.
Certain pincodes or regions may occasionally be unavailable for operational, carrier, weather, livestock, or regulatory reasons. If we are unable to fulfil delivery to your location after an order is placed, we will contact you and, where applicable, offer an appropriate refund or cancellation option.
2. Order Review, Processing, and Dispatch
All orders are subject to review, acceptance, stock availability, and successful payment confirmation.
Once an order is placed, we begin preparing it for dispatch. Processing time may vary depending on:
- product availability,
- order volume,
- weather and shipping conditions,
- whether the order contains live plants or other sensitive items,
- and whether any verification is required before dispatch.
We aim to process and dispatch orders as promptly as reasonably possible. Dispatch timelines communicated on the website, at checkout, or by email are estimates, not guarantees.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:
- courier disruptions,
- weather conditions,
- public holidays,
- strikes,
- regulatory restrictions,
- natural events,
- force majeure situations,
- or incomplete or incorrect delivery information provided by the customer.
6. Tracking
Where tracking is available, tracking details will be shared after dispatch by email, SMS, WhatsApp, or through your order account, depending on the systems in use at the time.
Tracking updates are generated by third-party carriers. While we help coordinate where possible, we do not control the timing, quality, or accuracy of carrier scan events.
7. Shipping Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address, including recipient name, contact number, pincode, and any landmark or building details required for delivery.
Aqua Matsya will not be responsible for failed delivery, delay, loss, or additional charges arising from incorrect, incomplete, or outdated shipping information provided at checkout.

8. Delivery Attempts and Returned Parcels
If a parcel cannot be delivered because:
- the recipient is unavailable,
- the address is incorrect or incomplete,
- delivery is refused,
- or the parcel remains unclaimed,
the shipment may be returned, held, or marked undeliverable by the courier.
Where re-dispatch is possible, additional shipping or handling charges may apply. For live or perishable products, re-delivery may not always be feasible.
9. Live Plants and Other Live / Sensitive Products
For live plants and any other live or sensitive items we may offer from time to time, extra care is taken in packing and dispatch. These items may require special handling, limited dispatch windows, and shipment scheduling based on weather, transit conditions, or destination.
Because live products are more time-sensitive than dry goods:
- dispatch may be deferred to a safer shipping day,
- delivery timelines may be narrower or more conditional,
- and certain locations may be excluded from service.
Customers are encouraged to be available to receive live-product orders promptly on delivery.
10. Delivery Inspection and Shipping Issues
Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

11. Partial Shipment / Split Shipment

12. Cancellations Before Dispatch

If an order has already been packed, booked with a carrier, or dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible.
Any cancellation practices should remain fair and consistent with applicable consumer law. In India, e-commerce entities are not expected to impose cancellation charges on consumers unless comparable charges are also borne by the seller in equivalent unilateral cancellation situations.
