Founder Story
Aqua Matsya began from a deeply personal realization: the most meaningful work is often found where passion, purpose, and craft come together.
My journey into aquascaping started in 2019 with a small tank at home and the many mistakes that come with any true beginning. Over time, the hobby became far more than an interest. What drew me most deeply to aquascaping was its ability to bring a piece of nature into the home — and in that, I found both peace and purpose.
Aqua Matsya was built from that experience: as a premium Indian brand for planted aquarium hobbyists, grounded in quality, shaped by real-world conditions, and created for those just beginning as well as those pursuing the craft more seriously. From the beginning, the goal was not simply to launch products, but to build thoughtfully, create responsibly, and offer something genuinely worthy of the hobby it serves.
